as we celebrate our wedding, over the 4th of july weekend in kenosha, wisconsin.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Accommodations:
there is only ONE hotel in downtown kenosha - the Best Western Harborside Inn (phone 262-658-3281). most other accommodations are 10+ miles away. we strongly suggest booking early due to the holiday weekend. There will be a shuttle running from the best western to both the night-before block party and the wedding.

if you are traveling in a group of 10 or more and wish to experience a more rustic, lodge-like atmosphere, please email chris about booking the Merry Yacht Inn, a retreat (usually for fishermen) very close to the best western. we have already reserved the Merry Yacht for an adventurous group TBD.

Finally, the overflow/alternate hotel (no shuttle service) we recommend is the Candlewood Suites

Attire:
It will likely be humid during the ceremony (for men - a “summer suit” fabric like linen would be most comfortable), and will likely cool down considerably as the evening goes on. Both the ceremony and the reception will be on grass, so lawn-friendly flats or wedges are strongly suggested!
